Child Protection Meeting

Somaliland Ministry of Justice organized meeting for UN, INGOs and local organization involving in Child protection issues.

The meeting was held in Ministry of Justice on 27/1/2010, at 9:00 AM-10:30 AM.

Agenda of the meeting was to develop concrete strategy plan for coordinating child protection activities in the country under Ministry of Justice.

Raffi Opens Centre for Child Honoring

One of the most widely recognized children's entertainers, Raffi, has opened a Centre for Child Honoring on Salt Spring Island in British Columbia Canada.

The Centre aims to "TO HELP TRANSFORM SOCIETIES FOR THE GREATEST GOOD by meeting the needs of their young, the Centre plans to launch project initiatives within the sectors of Education, Communications, Innovation and Society."

Media Release on Daily Media Use Among Children and Youth from the Kaiser Family Foundation

The Kaiser Family Foundation recently released the results of a large scale surey on the use of media among chidren and teens. The report is based on a survey conducted between October 2008 and May 2009 among a nationally representative sample of 2,002 3rd-12th grade students ages 8-18. Read more.
